Dealership workflows
Build a revenue engine that runs itself.
Design how your dealership follows up, hands off, and re-engages, then let Clearline orchestrate it on every customer, every day. Each workflow you add compounds across the whole store.

How it works
Triggers, logic, and actions on one canvas.
Connect what starts the work, how it decides, and what it does. Every step sits on a visual canvas, so your managers can read a workflow at a glance.
Triggers
Start from anything that happens at your store.
Run a workflow when a record is created or updated, when a customer joins a shared list, on a schedule, when another system sends a webhook, or when someone on your team runs it by hand.
AI and logic
Let AI read the situation, then decide.
AI steps classify and summarize what came in, like whether a lead is asking about sales, service, or a trade, and pass the answer to later steps. Conditions route each customer down the right path, and delays wait for the right moment.
Actions
Do the work, not just the reminder.
Send an email or text, place a call, enroll the customer in an outbound campaign, update the record, or notify a teammate. Turn on stop when a contact replies, so a customer who answers never gets the rest of the sequence.
Workflow templates
A workflow for every department.
Start from a template built for the way your store works, then shape the steps, timing, and people to fit.
New lead response
When a lead comes in, AI reads the enquiry, texts the customer about the vehicle they asked for, and alerts the salesperson who owns the record.
Quiet lead revival
Add leads that went quiet to a shared list. The workflow enrolls them in a re-engagement campaign and stops the moment one replies.
Lease-end outreach
When a customer joins your lease-end list, enroll them in an upgrade campaign and let the sales manager know who is coming up.
Trade-in hand-off
When AI tags an enquiry as a trade-in, update the record and notify your used car manager with a summary of the vehicle and the ask.
Test it, publish it, and watch every run.
Build as a draft and publish when it is ready. Each workflow shows its run activity and success rate, every run shows what each step did, and failed runs can be retried. In a demo, we can map your first workflows with you.
FAQ
Questions about workflows.
What can start a workflow?
Five kinds of triggers: a record event, such as a contact being created or updated; a customer joining a shared list; a schedule; a webhook from another system; or a manual run by someone on your team.
What can a workflow do?
Workflows can read and update records, send email and text messages, make calls, enroll customers in outbound campaigns or remove them, and notify a teammate. AI steps can classify and summarize information for later steps, and conditions and delays control which steps run and when.
Will customers keep getting messages after they reply?
Not if you turn on stop workflow when a contact replies. When the customer responds, the remaining steps end, so your team can take the conversation from there.
Who can build and publish workflows?
Workspace admins and owners. Workflows save as drafts while you build and only go live when you publish them, so you can test each step first, including API call steps with sample values and webhook payloads captured during setup.
How do we know a workflow is working?
Each workflow shows its run activity and success rate, and you can open any run to see the result of every step. Retry a failed run or cancel active work. In Conversations, a Workflow filter shows the outreach your workflows started.
