About Clearline
Building AI for the physical world.
Most of the economy still runs on phones, front desks, and people who are already busy. We are building the AI workforce that runs those operations.

A letter from the founders
Why we started here
The last decade of software went to work on the internet. The next one goes to work in the physical world: the stores, service bays, and front desks where most commerce still happens and where almost none of it is automated.
Car dealerships are the sharpest version of that gap. A single store can move tens of millions of dollars a year, and it does it through phone calls, walk-ins, and handoffs between people. Every one of those moments is a decision, and every missed one is revenue that quietly disappears.
We started Clearline because we believe the right way to fix this is not another tool for the team to manage. It is a system that does the work: one that answers, follows up, books, and remembers, across every department, all day, and stays accountable for the outcome.
Dealerships are the beginning, not the boundary. The same operating fabric belongs in every business where a customer shows up, calls in, or comes back for service. We intend to build it, and to hold ourselves to a standard where the store runs better because we are in it.

systems built to run the whole store
Decades of point tools for each department, none designed to act across them.
Where this goes
From answering the phone to running the store
We are building in stages. Each one earns the trust needed for the next.
- 01
Answer every customer moment
Calls, chats, and follow-ups handled by AI that understands the request and books the outcome. This is live in dealerships today.
- 02
Operate across the whole store
One system that carries context between sales, service, and parts, takes action on its own, and reports the revenue it protected.
- 03
Run the physical world's front line
The same operating layer for every business where customers show up in person. Dealerships are the first proof.
How we work
The standards behind the ambition
Build for the real world
Our software meets customers on a phone line at 7 pm and a service drive at 7 am. It has to work in the mess, not the demo.
Own the outcome
We are accountable for appointments kept and revenue recovered, not for features shipped. If the store did not do better, we did not do our job.
Trust is the product
AI acting for a business has to be transparent and controllable. It should always be obvious what Clearline did, and why.
Move at the speed of the store
Dealerships change fast and expect the same from us. Small, sharp releases every week beat big reveals.
