Business Development Representative

Clearline is hiring a business development representative to build pipeline and create high-quality first impressions with prospective customers. You will work closely with account executives and marketing to identify target accounts, run outbound campaigns, and convert interest into qualified meetings.
You will help shape top-of-funnel strategy while developing strong fundamentals in prospecting, messaging, and discovery.
What You'll Do
- Prospect strategically: Research accounts and contacts across priority dealership segments.
- Run outbound motion: Execute personalized outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Qualify opportunities: Assess fit, urgency, and pain points before routing to account executives.
- Book quality meetings: Focus on conversation quality, not just volume.
- Maintain clean systems: Keep CRM and activity tracking accurate and up to date.
- Iterate messaging: Work with sales and marketing on scripts, sequences, and objection handling.
- Own top-of-funnel outcomes: Track conversion metrics and improve performance week over week.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years in SDR/BDR, sales, or customer-facing business roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication with attention to clarity.
- Persistence, coachability, and strong execution discipline.
- Ability to personalize outreach with relevant context.
- Comfort with CRM tools and structured sales workflows.
- Analytical mindset and openness to feedback-driven iteration.
